Our church is providing small zero interest loans in our communities help beneficiaries establish or expand small businesses. The Bread of Life Church is giving zero interest loan with 3 years of experience building sustainable micro-loan programs. After the initial funds are invested twice, assuming a repayment rate of at least 95%, the program will qualify for additional installments until the permanent loan pool reaches full capacity and the fund will revolve in the community. Our Church is working to address the challenges faced by marginalized micro-entrepreneurs in small communities, who often struggle to find loans to expand their businesses. Unfortunately, they are frequently forced to rely on daily lenders charging exorbitant interest rates of up to 18 % per month or higher. Traditional lenders often demand collateral and are not inclined to offer micro-loans, leaving businesses at the bottom of the economic ladder with very limited options for accessing small, low-interest loans.
Our Church is committed to empowering our community by offering initial loans to trusted Small entrepreneurs who have a proven track record in their business ventures
This initiative not only strengthens our existing relationships but also ensures these loans are a low-risk investment. By emphasizing the importance of adhering to loan repayment terms, we educate our borrowers on how their responsibility contributes to establishing a lasting loan resource for our community, which in turn, enables the fund to grow and circulate within our community. In the long term, we aim to create a sustainable loan pool that caters to the micro-loan needs of our community. The Bread of Life Church's zero-interest small loan anticipate that this initial investment of $1500 will pave the way for a series of short-term micro-loans. These loans will serve as a stepping stone towards our goal of building a self-sustaining loan pool. Furthermore, successful borrowers will be encouraged to mentor newcomers and participate in the program's administration, fostering a sense of community ownership and ensuring the program's longevity.
